But at the same time, she was all over social media and TikTok.
And that was her undoing.
She went viral in 2022, claiming that guests who had come to stay in her Airbnb had been triggered by her disability aids and were suing her for £450,000.
And this is all fantasy.
Yeah.
But of course that went viral because the whole of social media was outraged that this terrible thing could happen to this lovely woman with a terminal illness.
So the whole of social media rallied behind her.
Her hashtag, this world can be accessible, was trending on TikTok.
It was a huge story.
But what then happened was victims and TikTok sleuths started to join the dots of, hey, that's that woman we knew as Rebecca in Cork.
That's that woman we knew as Lucy in Dublin.
That's that woman who is my au pair in Galway.
And a WhatsApp victim group formed and some TikTok kind of super sleuths in there too.
And they just sort of unraveled her web of lies and exposed her.
Yeah, well, what kind of shocked me was that was late 2022.
She was outed then on social media, but then also mainstream media like the Irish Independent and places like that took up the story.
So she was out there too.
But actually she continued scamming.
That's what I uncovered in the book that we found out since she went to New Ross and tried to scam an elderly old man there.
And then she rocked up in Selbridge, posing as a nanny again, Sadie Harris, same shtick as before.
