And they were like, what do we do?
Fill her up.
Well, the answer was we do the missions because who else is going to do it?
It's right after 9-11.
I remember watching that.
You know, it's funny, as you tell the story, I'm getting a little teared up here.
Yeah.
I was at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana.
We were doing a training exercise, and I heard guys in the hallway making a bunch of noise.
They're like, holy crap, did you see that?
You know, they were watching the news.
They saw the first plane hit.
So I turned on the TV, started making a pot of coffee, and I watched the second plane hit.
I was like, okay, this is no accident.
It's definitely an attack.
So I'm running around getting everybody together.
And we ended up driving back to Fort Campbell because they wouldn't let anything fly.
And that was like a 12-hour drive.
And then the next day I was in Tampa, another 15-hour drive, just to plan what was initially called infinite response or something like that.
