This is going to hit CNN in five minutes.
I can't because if I let her know I'm okay, because here's what the report was.
We had, uh, it was, uh,
two Chinook shot down eight killed was what CNN reported.

And,
the odds are that's me because I'm the senior flight lead and my wife is going to hear that.
But the problem is if she knows that I'm okay and all the wives are hanging out at the commander's house, watching the news coverage and waiting for news, if she's calm, they know it's not me.
So I can't, I can't do it.
Right.
This is my professional.
Yeah.
And there's a process to notifying somebody that they have killed in action.
And we get out of there and we're coming home.
And she found out that I had an opportunity to call her.
Uh-oh.
And it did not go well.
I understand.
And she never forgave me.
