And I sit down next to the colonel who's in charge with my cup of coffee.

I'm like, hey, sir, what's going on?

He goes, oh, team's compromised.

We launched the QRF, quick reaction force.

Well, I'm the QRF starting it a couple hours ago.

And I was like, hey, sir, that's me.

Who's flying it?

Oh, it's Major Reich, the guys that were on it previously, because they decided to launch part of Red Wings early, and that's what they were going to do.

So it made sense in their mind to do that.

So they go running down there and I'm just sitting here and watching my coffee, watching the tracker, you know, showing their aircraft position.

And as they come to a hover to kick ropes, they're going to fast rope.

Fast rope is about a, you know, between 60 and 90 foot rope that's about, you know, this big, like the old fashioned fire poles, you know, in a firehouse.

And they're going to slide down that because there's no place to land.

And when they come to a hover, I watch them kick ropes from the, there's an A-10 flying around with what they call lightning.

Through the – there's an airplane overhead with a FLIR, forward-looking infrared.

So it's like night vision, but it sees differential in heat.
