So they tampered with the evidence and they allowed evidence to be submitted to the jury which was not authentic and we were able to disprove that scientifically.

So even if this were a civil case, not a criminal case,
I would say that you couldn't prove even civil liability by a preponderance of the evidence.
The preponderance favors innocence.
That doesn't mean he's innocent.
That means the evidence isn't there to convict.
I don't know whether he's guilty, and that's true of many of my clients.
