And the kinds of broader sociocultural forces at play, whether it's how studies are designed, whether it's this idea of real and fake disease, whether it's the capture of journalistic, the journalists that are reporting on this and the scientists that are researching it, all of that makes it just very, very difficult to figure out what's going on.
