But if you look at Cork, they get a weather warning for the whole of Cork.

And when we saw a storm by Bess, it was an orange warning for the whole of Cork, but East Cork had absolutely decimated with flooding.

It should have been a red warning.

So they're also saying they're going to start looking at that and they're going to start looking at the impact-based system that the UK may offer us for weather warning.

So to be fair, I think they're evolving.

I think they are listening, but yeah, the forecast one, and that's where weather models and AI actually, maybe to touch on AI, that's where AI is going to really start to play a part here because we need to start using that type of technology to look at if

50 millimeters of rain falls on the catchment area for the river slaney it's already at 2.04 meters what is it going to rise by what is the flood risk and i think with ai and with all of the modern science that we have we're going to get really quickly get to a place where we're going to be able to really accurately help forecast floods

Yeah, unfortunately, Donald Trump put a lot of funding to NOAA, which, you know, a lot of that is climate study.

It's not necessarily weather study.

Some of it is weather and the weather forecast will probably suffer a bit from that.

But a lot of it is into climate research, which, you know, obviously is another very important part of it.

And sometimes people mix up weather and climate, you know, and think they're almost the one thing, but

you're not and we we really need that kind of research to help with the likes of the flood flooding so if we know the atmosphere is warming by x we know that that can hold more moisture so we need those that type of studies and that type of information so it's very very disappointing to see a huge reduction the amount of funding to know and that will will have an impact in the years ahead in terms of the weather information and the weather predictions that are coming

Yeah, so this happened in 2018.

If you remember, we had a really dry spell in 2018 as well.

And people started noticing some crop marks almost on the ground.

And mainly because people had drones, you know, were able to easily take photography.

So in 2018, I went down the road and I took some pictures.

And I thought I spotted something...

And I reported it actually in 2022 after I read a magazine about some other local hill forts and things in this area.
