The performances, bar the first five games, they've been so inconsistent.
And I mean those first five games, you could have Cardiff 23-20 in round two.
Cardiff could have won that game.
I did the commentary for it.
Edinburgh 20-19 in Cork.
Edinburgh could have easily won that game.
Round four, that was the one that gave so much enthusiasm against Leinster and Croker.
Okay, the bigger picture is you win the game.
But the fight was just at a really high level.
They were so intense around the breakdown.
Their line speed, their body language, a little bit of niggle within them.
It dropped off then, which is a little bit understandable against Connacht at home the week after.
They won 17-15.
It was unconvincing.
Connacht caused them some problems.
But it was a great start and you take that, but it did paper over some cracks and issues.
And it was kind of like Liverpool playing.
They win their first five league games and they've totally... The reality and the truth came out around their inconsistencies.
So Munster's inconsistencies have been a problem and the players have got to take that on board.
And to be fair, the uncertainty around Clayton McMillan a few weeks ago, whether he's staying or going, and I'm sure he was very frustrated with the Roger Randall thing and the whole thing had played out and all that stuff.
