I still get some comments from people when I do rugby commentaries, you know, and that maybe not like me.
You know, I've had many instances over the years where
Munster people are giving out that I'm too nice to the Leinster players and Leinster people are giving out that I'm pro-Munster and, you know, working a news talk here for a long time now, you know, you try and get a balance and be fair and honest to people.
No, look, it's the same for anybody who's commentating in a position like that.
I just try and be as honest as I can and that's part and parcel of it.
People have commentary and
the scrutiny is much more.
So we probably didn't have a lot of that.
We had, there was message boards and things like that.
Boards.ie, wasn't that the thing?
Back when I played.
And of course, yeah, people are entitled to comments and it's not all negative either.
You get good comments too, which is nice, you know.
There's a little bit of a learning process when I left rugby first off.
There's a nervousness about what this job is like and how you should go about it.
And the only thing I've ever thought, I've always sought advice from people who've
who've worked in the industry or presenters or, you know, people who have experience.
And I've always had an intrigue to ask people questions.
I've always had an intrigue about people, even when I was young.
How do you do that?
