And so I was like, this is probably what this one is going to take to work.
There were a lot of cooks in the kitchen and nobody quite knew what Reacher was at the beginning.
And so everybody had a different take.
He's more stoic.
He's more mean.
He's more angry.
He's funny.
And so I knew the part well enough.
I had every script memorized completely.
So now it'd be like, okay, my turn.
And so another producer would walk over and can I do the version where Reacher's really funny and kind of like loose about it?
There's a version of Reacher for season one.
That's every version you can imagine.
It's pretty unprecedented.
It's fucking mega.
What's crazier for me centers on this one person, this titular character.
It's not like Stranger Things where you're part of like an amazing ensemble.
I mean, yes, we're part of an ensemble every year, but it's an anthology and it's mostly rotating.
And for that much visibility to really be on one person is very unusual and a gift in so many ways.
