There's an old one.
Um, that Denethor was a man of great mental powers and a quick reader of thoughts behind faces and words, but he may well also have actually seen in the honor stone visions of events in Rohan and Isengard.
So while he might not have been able to use the stone to see what Gandalf was thinking, he would have been able to use the stone and seen some of the events.
But the question that I have for you, maybe sort of a brief discussion here, what level of detail would he have seen?
What might he know and not know about Rohan and Isengard?
I mean, I know we'll get some clues next week about the mechanics of these stones and how visions are seen.
We know they don't transfer audio.
So it's video only.
So it's sort of, I know I said earlier, it's like a cell phone.
It's literally the opposite of that.
