But actually we went to the bar that's named after me, Shearer's Bar.

It was me, Sir Les Ferdinand and Gabby Logan.

Yeah.

I just didn't want to sound wanky and just say Shearer's Bar.

We did a nice interview in there and then myself and John Champion then interviewed the chief executive, David Hopkinson, who was brilliant in the hospitality area.

Then I went down pitch side and did sort of 15 or 20 minutes there with Wayne.

Les and Theo and Gabby obviously interviewing us.

And then went up to the commentary position.

So it was like you had to try and keep an energy because you've obviously got to try and tell the story, but not go over the top, as you say.

But you are, or we, I should say, Newcastle are leading 6-1.

Yeah.

Which, I mean, it was never going to be overturned.

And it was just a matter of what team Newcastle were going to put out.

And we spoke to Eddie, we interviewed Eddie beforehand.

And I asked him in terms of what was the balance to terms of was he going to put the young kids out?

three or four of them, or was he going to be pretty experienced?

And he said it was really important that he had to play squad players, players who had been out injured.

And in the end, he only started one youngster, which was Alex Murphy down at left back.

And then, of course, they get the two goals too after, what, six minutes?
