I know a lot of the knock in terms of Shohei being considered for the Cy Young in the National League was because he's not going to have enough innings.

But if you're looking at it as a most valuable player award, I don't know how...

you give it to anybody other than Shohei, regardless of the team that he is on.

He just does too much for the team on both sides of the baseball, and he does it at such a high level.

I think there needs to be another award entirely.

He's the most unique player, for sure.

I think that's such a good point, Layla, that you bring up, because I don't remember a time in which there were so many parties that could actively go either way.

The American League is so bad this year.

There's a probably out of the 15 American League teams, there's probably 10 that could go either way.

Honestly, I mean, I think there's four teams that are actually above 500, maybe one team that's at the 500 mark.

You know, from a fan perspective, if you're that close and you still have an opportunity perhaps to get in via the wildcard, you better hope that your team buys.

But from a front office perspective, what are the realistic expectations of what guys can we bring in to actually give us a chance at a postseason berth?

And what are we willing to give up for that?

I mean, there's gotta be a lot of situations I think this year in particular, where there's a lot of buying and selling on the same exact team.

Probably buying to get, you know, to look forward to the 2000 and I hope there's a 2027 season.
