Are you someone who needs total darkness?
That's where blackout blinds, especially in the season that we're going into, right?
It's going to be brighter in the mornings, lighter in the evenings.
Blackout blinds can work.
Are you someone who needs it really quiet?
Or are you someone that needs that consistent sound, like that white noise sound?
Do you need to incorporate more common sense?
What you're sleeping in and on, you know, bedding and your pajamas, like all of that plays a role in getting a great night's sleep for sure.
Well, and that's where things like earplugs and things like that can help you.
White noise machines can drown out the sounds.
But if you are sleeping with someone who is snoring, one of the most common and most major and undiagnosed sleep disorder is sleep apnea.
I'm not saying she has sleep apnea, but I always say don't kick them out of the bedroom.
Kick them out to the doctor because that's worth getting.
They would then refer you to have a sleep study done.
It's worth getting checked out.
That could be a sign and symptom.
If you're waking up, you're getting your eight hours, but waking up feeling exhausted, having a lot of excessive daytime sleepiness during the day where you're literally falling asleep in meetings at red lights, that's a red flag.
Focus on a great sleep environment.
Focus on a great bedtime routine.
Give yourself one hour.
