And I think it just got to the point where

Kevin O'Connell felt like he owed it to his team to start building towards the season.

And it's like, okay, like we can project now what Kyler Murray is gonna be in our offense rather than hoping that J J's progress, which has been really good, keeps going.

And, you know, like now that'll allow them to build the run game, which they think is gonna be better with Frank Smith there.

That allows, you know, guys like Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison to build a rapport with Kyler with plenty of time left before the season.

So I think that's sort of what it came down to.

I don't think it was a route.

I don't think Kyler won in a route, but I just think, you know, after what they went through the last two years, they were sort of in this position where just having the certainty of what

Kyler is in the NFL, um, gave everybody a comfort level to go forward.

And the reality is too, Ryan, like

I think it'd be much easier to go from Kyler to JJ than the other way around.

You know?

I just think that's the if if you're looking at it and saying we'll probably have to play both, it makes sense to start with the experienced guy.

And like I don't think

I think Kyler as a backup would be a little bit of an awkward fit, you know?

And so like you don't start there.

And I do think like in some of these quarterback competitions, that's what it can come down to is like, all right, like if we're gonna use both these guys, like who is the better guy for week one to week four?

Who is the easier guy to detach from if we're gonna move from one to the other?

And I and I do think there's like some nuance to that too, where
