And the second question is around organizational structure, where I talk a lot about the emergence of a network model within an organization.
And then the third is about the flows of information, which is what are the patterns of information exchange
will things become more interactive?
And it certainly, again, I'm not suggesting I had some crystal ball, but I think directionally, some of the things I wrote about in that thesis, which I finished in 1999, I think have held up very well.
Well, no, he, um, he wasn't thinking about Delicious.
Joshua had written Delicious.
It was a fully up and running service while he was still an employee at Morgan Stanley.
Um, it was a side project.
Um, and, um,
He had started getting interest from VCs, including from Brad Burnham and Fred Wilson, who had started Unisquare Ventures.
Uh, and, um, so I obviously knew both Brad and Fred very well.
And through them, I met with Joshua.
So Brad, so I had an incubator, um, from actually from 99 to 2000, very, very short lived.
And Brad was one of the investors and directors.
And, um, uh, of course, and in New York, everybody knew Fred.
Um, so Fred knew everybody.
So, um,
I knew both of them.
And in fact, Brad and I tried to raise a fund together after the dot-com bubble burst, and we couldn't get it done.
And so he had to buy his time a little bit.
