You understand quite much better the persons, because it's not only to have an employee there, but to connect with the person.
My first big hotel traineeship, it was the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun.
I was just 16.
I was there four months.
And this hotel was the best in all Americas.
It had three five-star, triple diamond awards.
having this encounter with this high quality and being like just 16 and seeing this.
And then I said, wow, this is totally something different.
One of the most important and probably many would agree is listening.
Listening not only from position,
wise like I'm the boss or I'm the manager but really listening not only abstract but also with the heart when the people feel hurt even if it's unconscious they respect this nowadays a big connection and when people get connected not only with the team but also with themselves then they can do great work
Because sometimes you're motivated two weeks and then you come to work.
Oh, fuck, it's Monday.
So that they can reconnect, that they can understand again from the hotel, but also their personal mission.
Some people want alpha.
Some people want to just be in the background.
Some people want to make a career.
Some people say, no, I'm fine being a breakfast cook.
it's it's fine no i think to reconnect them with themselves and with the hotel mission no that we all talk the same language that we all have of course the same needs but at the same time we are all different we are not all the same no and to do this in a multicultural 25 plus countries nationalities 22 plus languages it is not easy
