You hope that Santi Jimenez can at some point score important goals for the Mexican national team.
But in my estimation, once you get past Raul Jimenez and the best version of Santi Jimenez, whatever that is, because we don't see it all that often, I think it's a drop off to the rest.
And the rest includes Bertramen, includes La Armiga, includes this or that, and this guy or that guy.
I really think this is Raul Jimenez and then the rest.

All I know and all I would tell you is that the Jorge Sanchez hate in this show is real.
Injuries are never a good thing.
But let me just frame this as potentially a positive for Santi Jimenez.
The timing of the injury is not great.
I think we can all acknowledge that.
But in having this injury, I think it allows him to get away from the game and start building up, not only physically, but I think more importantly, mentally.
mentally to where he can now tell himself, I can trust my ankle.
The problem was the ankle.
