But I think as a sports executive, speaking for myself, if things are going to go right or wrong, you want them to go right or wrong because you made the decisions.
It wasn't because you were influenced, you were nudged, you were pushed.
Now, sure.
So ownership might come to you and have, you know, they're going to tell you what payroll is and things like that.
And they might tell you, look, we're a little bit concerned with this or that or the other thing.
But generally speaking, I think when you have too many layers, in my experience, I don't think it works well.
I'm big on the reporting structure.
I'm that way with this organization here.
I'm very clear.
People have clear lines, clear roof.
I don't like overlap.
I think, look, we all collaborate, right?
You have someone's opinion, you're collaborating, right?
No one makes trades decisions, moving guys up and down without collaborating.
So I think collaborating is the most BS word in sports.
Everyone ends up throwing it around all over the place.
