You know, we're very few games into this thing right now.
We've been that team that's under .500 in August.
We've been that team that's eight games back and come back to win the division.
I've lived all that kind of stuff.
So I'm very much today.
I realize today is the moment.
We've seen teams come back.
The Guardians a year ago at this time took the division from Detroit.
So we have our foot on the gas.
We don't look too far ahead.
I'm hopeful that we get to the trade deadline, we're in there, and that we could jump back in.
It was the first time last year that we actually contemplated selling, and it was awful.
And I just remember, as agonizing as it is to make trades and you're giving up young talent to add, it's way better than being on the sell side.
Give us the update.
I'll do whatever.
If players are like, hey, we'll win two out of three, three out of four, go get us this, that, that, whatever, I'm all in on doing some of those things.
I guess I would say any time you don't have the year you have,
it's easy to say, well, you know, we had a ton of injuries and we couldn't overcome them and all that, which I definitely think was part of it.
Nobody wants to hear it, which is fine.
