That there's going to be higher and higher production values, more and more creative energy into creating things and piloting them.
So we build a team ahead of time and we'll pilot things.
you know, the, the, the episode and we'll send it through a bunch of different iterations.
We'll have, we have a bunch of people who, you know, who are highly trained editorially who listen through and offer suggestions and we'll go back and we'll tweak and we'll scrap and we'll redo.
Um, meanwhile, we're paying the team to, to build it all that time, you know?
So, so it, we, we, we sat down and sort of looked at it and it's like, it's a six month process taking a show from concept to, uh, to, to final execution.
Um,
And it's, you know, and it's, that's scary because, you know, you can go through that six month process and, and, and it can be, it can be great.

I mean, it's, I think it's, I don't know exactly what the numbers are in terms of like what the actual cost of, of, of, of piloting, but yeah, it's, it's, you know, a hundred grand is probably a safe, safe to say that, you know, we're, we're spending at least a hundred grand.
That's right.
No, no.

And partly that's because you had to be.
There wasn't a huge financial incentive to get really, really good at narrative audio.
You know, there just weren't that many, you know, especially compared to like.
Being a TV writer or something else, like in other types of media, there were just more job openings than in narrative audio.
