Early on in professional baseball, I felt like if I wanted to be a leader, I needed to be able to communicate with everybody.

I felt like learning, I wouldn't say I'm a master, but I understand it pretty well and speak it pretty well.

But I feel like being able to communicate with your teammates is key and being able to communicate in their native languages is important.

And it shows that you're willing to put in the effort and care about them.

Just first and foremost, when I got there, just trying to get, get to know all the guys and get to know everybody's name and kind of get to find out a little bit about everybody and kind of what makes them go and what makes them, what makes them tick, you know, and trying to learn, learn my teammates, learn the coaches, learn the front office and, kind of learn everybody in the organization.

And once I've been fortunate enough to get to know all these guys, it's been awesome. It's been a great time. I think everybody is the right mindset. Everybody's motivated, ready to compete this year. And we got one more exhibition game and then it's go time.

Yeah, 100%. I think a lot of it just goes to communication, talking with everybody and getting on the same page with everybody. Obviously, like you said, I've been fortunate enough to play in the playoffs for the last eight years. I'm planning on continuing to do that this year here with Boston. And I'm super excited. And for me, I think it's just go out and do anything I can to help the team win in all aspects of the game. and yeah, just kind of have good baseball conversations, talk to everybody and, and, and try and, um, share experiences, um, and share things that I feel like help make good teams, uh, win.
