Why are kids not even interested in signing up for driver's ed?

And do you think it's a mistake for parents to say it's OK?

Yeah, you can just delay it or you don't need to get your license if you don't want to.

They're saying it's cringy to be in driver's ed and riding around with other kids.

Like, where is this coming from?

Like, how does this develop?

Because, you know, what historically you think of as adolescent years is kids that are just dying to leave.

Like, they're dying to spread their wings, get out of the house, get away from their parents.

And now you have this phenomenon, right, of kids, it's like they're clinging to their parents.

So something has shifted and created that.

So if we go back to these kids being raised, what were their parents doing differently

that previous generations of parents were not doing that you guys think is causing this?

we need to set kids up to intentionally struggle a little bit, right?

So what does that look like in practice?

Out of all these kids that you guys are seeing that are claiming that they're struggling with severe anxiety and all these different issues or feeling like they can't grow up, basically, what percentage of them would you say have a smartphone?

Do you ask parents that?
