It's Nico Horner starting to hit.
It's Alex Bregman with a huge series.
It is those two guys who, if you looked at the beginning of the season, they were considered two integral parts of this team if they're going to succeed, if they're going to fail.
And to this point of the season,
I would say, and you can ask both of these players, it's been underwhelming seasons for Nico Horner and Alex Bregman from an offensive standpoint, and for those two to come up huge in that series against St.
Louis.
Nico, especially since after the All-Star break, getting those guys hot at the right time brings this lineup to a new level.
Well, first of all, it's not just the starting pitching.
It's the bullpen as well.
They came into yesterday's game 14th in the league in bullpen ERA with one reliever who has been on the team all season long from opening day until now.
That's Jacob Webb.
So there's been so much turnover, so many injuries, and for that bullpen losing, Daniel Palencia, who was their best reliever last year, the only hard-throwing righty in the bullpen, to be top half of the league and throw five and two-thirds scoreless or give up one run to come away with yesterday's win.
They've been huge, and to get big innings from Javier Assad and Colin Ray, who's been, at the beginning of each season, a guy who's, you know what, he might start.
He might be in the bullpen.

To know that he's giving you five to six innings every time that he's gone out there, they've steadied the ship.
