Perhaps I just thought it would be easier to let go of him if there was some distance between us.
So I
I wrote him a letter.

The one he's been obsessed with for months.
It's funny really.
If I knew him then like I do now, I'd have known that it never would have worked.
Sending a threatening and mysterious letter to the world's most curious man.
May as well have waved a red flag at a bull.
He just has to know, has to pick at threads.
As soon as I sent the letter, I regretted it.
I was so stressed that he would somehow know it was me.
And truthfully, the m more I thought about it.
I didn't want to push him away.
I wanted him by my side.
I wanted the friendship that I was so close to ruining and that I surely would ruin on my current path.
So I changed course.
I'd get close to him, be the one he relies on, and keep him away from discovering anything too dangerous with some nudges here and there.
The problem was
I also wanted the science.
