What the hell's going on?
Well, here's what's happening, which is that you have a... President Trump feels arguably more emboldened this time around as president than he did last time.
He is getting pushback on tariffs from other countries, from fellow Republicans.
He's getting pushback from the judicial system on...
on immigration now, and he's plowing forward.
You are seeing a president that right now feels very emboldened, far more emboldened than he did during his first term.
He doesn't have to run for reelection again.
And he feels like he has a lot of political capital and he's cashing in right now.
There is no question that this administration is taking a very aggressive posture towards judges who rule against them.
You've seen Elon Musk go out on social media and said judges should be impeached.
Right.
And then you have what happened last last week when Trump goes to the DOJ.
which is an agency that the White House typically, as its custom is kept, the White House keeps within arm's length, and Trump goes and gives what many people view as a political speech.
So you are definitely seeing the blurring between the White House and the judicial system in a way that you haven't seen before.
Trump clearly sees the judicial system as a barrier, and he's trying to run through it at this point.
Yeah, look, I mean, rhetorically, this is a White House that feels like they ran on immigration, that they ran on a hard line immigration stance and they feel like they can push forward.
Now, here's the question.
The question is, is when they start getting pushback from judges, what happens then?
