The Rundown
Swarmer CEO on Building the “Microsoft of Drones”

So I think we will see a lot more interesting, both sources of data, sources of revenue, types of hardware we run on, types of missions we run on, because every single one of these is going to have different mission templates, right?

The Rundown
Swarmer CEO on Building the “Microsoft of Drones”

There's going to have different tactics deployed in the battlefield, and we're going to cover all of it if we can.

The Rundown
Swarmer CEO on Building the “Microsoft of Drones”

I don't think so.

The Rundown

In fact, I think that I wish I had the resources right now to use this technology for disaster response, for firefighting, for border patrol, for agriculture, for a whole host of other civilian use cases.

The Rundown

But right now the military demand is overwhelming everything.

The Rundown

And so I think that for a while that will continue to be the case.

Even if all the conflicts just magically ended at some point this year,

The Rundown

you would still have all the countries adjacent to the conflict arm themselves to the teeth over the next few years, because now they understand most of what they have in the warehouses is obsolete and they need to completely change their inventory and their tactics and what they have.

The Rundown

Right.

And then when that process runs its course, then I hope we'll have some resources to address the civilian use cases of which there are many.

The Rundown

We actually even had two contracts already in Ukraine for civilian purposes that just went on hold because nobody has bandwidth, neither us nor the customer to work on that.

The Rundown

Like one of them is for demining.

The Rundown
Swarmer CEO on Building the “Microsoft of Drones”

It's really difficult to focus on demining when you have active mining going on.

And so that had to wait.

The Rundown

But yeah, we're absolutely, we started this from the beginning as a dual use company, focusing on all the possible use cases of autonomy in unmanned devices.

And even if you think of the basic use case of dropping a package in a particular location, nobody said the package has to explode.

The Rundown

The package could include blood, it could include water, could include medicine, could include many different things.

The Rundown

And not everything is a package either.

So surveillance, you can surveil a military in the middle of a conflict, or you can surveil a border, or you can surveil a site that you are defending from potential attacks.

Side defense, interceptors.
