from people trying to you know cut deals talk to him he's manipulating he's constantly talking to media including yourself what did you see just on his phone uh basically so a few things one is that the best stuff that we actually got with him was when he's in the car um or traveling and i think that was really kind of his office the car uh the phone calls the texts the uh

that he would dictate his tweets to his staff from the car.

And he was discerning, though, with the people he responded to.

It all had to fit a particular agenda.

So if somebody was talking to him about issues that he didn't think were particularly important,

A lot of the time, say, some domestic issues, those would be not prioritized.

And then I think also, obviously, he would prioritize the leaders that were texting him.

And they were.

I mean, literally, world leaders texting his mobile phone directly.

It hit hard on a personal level in the sense that you are spending time with somebody for four and a half years and it was a shock.

I was in Europe actually when I found out and my sort of initial reaction really was actually immense sympathy to his staff.

His staff were his family, obviously his sister, but we knew his staff pretty well and I think

And I know that they were massively heartbroken by him passing away.

So they took care of him over many, many years.

Some of his staff had been with him since they were teenagers.

I mean, he's had people that have worked for him for three decades.

So I think that was sort of my initial reaction was how they would be.

But yeah, I mean, it is terribly sad when anyone dies, I think.

And it was a shock.

I mean, I don't think there was any nefarious thing that happened with respect to his death.
