from the Venezuelan government of whether they are in actual war with the United States.

Like sort of how when the U.S.
and Israel shot down
drones and missiles heading to Israel, that was an off-ramp that allowed Iran, after strikes hit their country, to take shots and sort of publicly settle the score.
This could be something similar for the U.S.
and Venezuela, that we'll attack bad guys in the area and we'll get what we want.
We'll have the public narrative of taking some targets out, but we're not going to blow up military targets.
So just let us do it and, you know, we both get what we want.
