This is the problem that people have with UBI.

that if people get universal basic income and they're not working for it, the worry that psychologists and behavioral scientists have about this is that people will know so much of, in Western culture specifically, of people's identities tied up around their work.

When you remove that part of the identity, it can lead to a collapse where they use that UBI to just do drugs and sit around and be very, very depressed even though they have the material comfort that they otherwise have.

it had access to this file that it was carrying and you started a new agent for a new job, you weren't starting fresh in the sense that you weren't getting kind of the same draw and forgot about the whole experience.

It would actually start out being predisposed against you in some ways.
