And you know who echoed that like a couple of weeks later?
Satya Nadella, OpenAI's biggest funder in the early days, came in and said, when you use these models, you generate exhaust.
And that exhaust is used to either make the models better or potentially build new products.
And we see it.
Like basically the best way to go.
Let's say you're doing a business process and you have the best practice to do it.
there's an argument to be made that you've just run it through Claude.
So now Claude knows how to do it.
Now, I don't know if that's 100% true or if it's a scare tactic, but what it does indicate is people like Satya Nadella, people like Karp, understand that for these companies to be able to see their valuations through, they're going to need to go upmarket.
And there's a great example of Claude coming up with this product called Claude Designs.
And the head of product or the former head of product at Anthropic used to be on the board of Figma, which does design.
And the CEO of Figma, Dylan Fields, said Anthropic hasn't been consistently candid in their communications.
Right.
Which is kind of interesting because I think that was the line that was used when the board of OpenAI fired Sam Altman.
But anyway, so he sees it coming for them.
And now within the labs –
There's going, both OpenAI and Anthropic are building these super apps.
So it's not just about code anymore.
It's about an app that can do anything for you, which effectively it ingests software.
