So Meta is basically betting the company on AI.
But here's my perspective on Meta.
So if Meta is right, let's just say.
And AI has like a big runway and they are able to put that product out.
You know, they might find it to be existential because – and I think we've talked about this in the past.
If you're Mark Zuckerberg and you're thinking, okay, I have this social media company.
Nobody really uses it for the social media stuff anymore.
Maybe groups are big on the Facebook Blue app.
A lot of people are using it for reels.
Yeah.
What are the big threats in the future for me?
Somebody jacks up the price of compute.
I think for them, the real threat is, you know how we were talking in the beginning of the show how addictive it is to be on reels?
I think Mark Zuckerberg thinks the real competitive threat to social media in the future is an AI friend.
One that like, if you think reels are addictive, wait until you have an AI friend that knows you, that speaks to you, that will comfort you in tough times and celebrate your good times.
