I think that this piece is a really good thought piece, but is ultimately wrong on a lot of its assumptions.
So basically, Dwarkesh's argument is like, if you actually, so AI is as dumb as it's ever going to be.
So if in a year from now, it's like actually able to be on the level of like an excellent
you know, software coder, then the economic premium you would pay for that compute is massive because you basically like have gone from something that can dilly dally encoding to something that can complete projects.
Well, dumb human coders aren't using like – because we do it by hand.
They're not using industrial scale of compute.
Yeah, we do it by hand.
