No one really cares about that.

It's all, it was obviously all exists within the context of what this team has done or hasn't done or behaved or, um, and, uh, I guess we're all waiting now, um, to see what happens next.

But, um, we haven't heard from Ben Stokes himself, or I suppose all at the same time, Gus Atkinson, but, uh, we heard from Brendan McCollum, um, who spoke ahead of the press conference and, um,

I'm not sure I get the quotes in front of you there, but he's basically, you know, he's talking about that he has, he has worry, he's worried for Ben.

He's worried about Ben.

And, um, man, I'm like, uh,

This is, it's getting a bit ridiculous, to be honest.

I mean, like, obviously, everyone cares about the player and their mental well-being.

Obviously, people do.

But England have got themselves in this position where they have attached themselves to the regime.

The regime is completely, like, lost itself.

And now we just wait to see what I suppose the player wants to do.

Like the ACB, if they wanted to sack him, they would have already done it, surely.

It doesn't take eight days to figure out what you want to do if you're going to sack him.

So now it's just, I guess, waiting to see if Stokes wants to retire or how he wants to carry on or formats he wants to play.

But until then, it feels like this situation, we're in limbo.
