I remember as an 18 year old, when I first got called up to the big leagues, just a few months removed from my high school prom, you know, a few months before that, my teammates like Griffey and Buhner and Randy Johns, these guys were all going to a bar in Boston.
And they're like, Alex, you want to come?
And I'm like, I'm three years away from being able to enter a bar.
Right.
And that was the first time that I was like so far, like my life was going in a different direction professionally.
But obviously what suffered the most was my personal development.
Maybe I needed to be with you, Kat, drinking a couple of kegs and just having a little bit of fun.
Yeah, I love Mike Francesa, who I thought was great.
I thought Kate was great.
I mean, just to have my ex-wife, who's still my best friend and co-parent to our two daughters, Natasha and Ella,
Like, I'm so proud of her to be able to go there and be so brave.
Like, I've gotten a lot of response from people who are divorced who don't have an optimal relationship.
So that was a thing.
The way my daughters have grown up because of my help with Dr. David and our relationship.
And then what I've been able to do after my baseball career.
