I wouldn't be so good now, but I was all right at the time.
No, but seriously, they're doing hydration checks every morning.
You were wired up before every single training session onto a machine that measured your immune systems.
That was eight years ago.
I can only think where it's at now because it's transformed enormously.
So it's not a reflection upon the sports science department of the club, I wouldn't have said.
Can I just say, by the way, from a point of view, this is a rare exception because I watch Premier League football now compared to it eight years ago and I left it, and these lads are a million times more fit than I was eight years ago, nine years ago.
They are incredible, by the way.
Their physical performance levels, their running stats, their intensity is off the scale.
And I have to say, we shouldn't sit here and think that Premier League football players are not as fit as they used to be.
They're a lot more fit than they used to be, by the way, and I want to say that.
because there's just one player here that we're talking about who doesn't seem to be able to produce repetitive sprints, which I think is a problem for him.
They're hard to find.
And what's your conclusion on that point?
Well, I think just... Alex's point around style of play I think is an important one because if Ole wants to play what would be a style of play which involves a lot of, say, for instance, quick sprinting, which can be counter-attack play or lots of runs in behind to penetrate defences, I look at, say, for instance, Romelu Lukaku, I look at Alexis Sanchez, who looks like his legs are struggling, I look at Anthony Martial, who, to be fair, plays in fits and starts, doesn't look like he... You think about the amount of runs that Mane and Salah make from those wide positions through centre-backs and full-backs.
Martial doesn't do that.
Martial likes to play when he wants to play, when he gets the ball.
I don't see him running without the ball anywhere near as much as he should do.
Sanchez, to be fair, looks like he's got a physical problem at the moment and Lukaku has a physical problem.
So if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to take this team from being a team that plays in fits and starts and can make runs maybe five times a half to one that makes runs in behind 16, 20 times a half, he's going to have to change some personnel.
