I do feel like the start to this season, though, I mean, especially compared to the last couple seasons, has to give fans some hope that even if they add one or two pieces, this team could be solid as soon as next year, which I wouldn't have said at the beginning of this season.
I would not have said, oh, they're just one or two pieces away from just being a solid Western Conference team.
And does it feel that way to you?
Well, Sarah, thank you for answering all of our questions about the Jazz.
But it is now time to play Andrew vs. the Beat, our weekly preview show where Andrew goes head-to-head with an NBA beat writer this week, Sarah Todd, from the Desert News.
Now, Sarah, how this works is I've come up with eight questions about the Utah Jazz.
You're going to give me a number between one and eight.
It'll correspond to a question.
Some are easy, some are hard.
If you get it right, you'll get at least two points.
If you get it wrong, Andrew will have a chance to steal for one, and we'll go back and forth until all the questions have been asked and answered.
So to start us off, Sarah, I just need a number between one and eight.
Three.
Question number three.
Only one of Utah's 15 most played two-man lineups has a positive net rating.
And get this, it's a plus 12.3 in 292 minutes.
Who are the two players in that lineup?
Now, you do get one point per correct answer.
Yes.
I don't actually know how it's possible for one two-man lineup to be that good while all the other ones in the top 15 are negative.
