Um, it seems to me that this is something that's been occurring. podcast-host

Earlier today we had some folks talk about the same paratransit issue. podcast-host

So I I would like for us to take more responsibility as a county. podcast-host

we are the ones they're going to blame, not the contracted folks. podcast-host

And so complaints need to be podcast-host

dealt with at our level as well, and we need to be reviewing that contract. podcast-host

Because it makes us look bad. podcast-host

And and the bottom line, we've got to take responsibility. podcast-host

So I'd like to make sure that the county is taking responsibility because at the end of the day. podcast-host

Contractors come and go. podcast-host

But we are here. podcast-host

And we have to make sure that those who are visually impaired and others are treated with respect and dignity. podcast-host

by whoever we put in charge to do that work. podcast-host

And if they're not doing a good job. podcast-host

then they they no longer have the contract to do it. podcast-host

And so we can't pass the buck. podcast-host

We have to be more proactive. podcast-host

Making sure we're listening, the same thing we did with the taxicabs. podcast-host

When the the you know, you're saying that, okay, we need to make sure that there's a way that they can say they had good service, not so good service, and it gets back. podcast-host

So we really need to do a better job. podcast-host
