Whereas the goal was to raise awareness about the tribal nations and recognize their history and ongoing impact on the country.

And whereas according to the twenty twenty census data, one thousand four hundred and twenty-six people live on the Seminole tribal land in Broward County.

And whereas the Hollywood Seminole Indian Reservation is located within Broward County.

Whereas this reservation is one of six federally recognized seminal reservations in Florida, the other reservations are located in Big Cyprus, Brighton, Emuckley, Fort Pierce and Tampa.
