Again, and I think that plays such an important role in hypnosis because that intuitive side of being able to listen is so imperative.
I think the other thing is another component of training is how to ask a great question, which is not gifted in a lot of these certification programs.
I did some research and it's just not part of the programming.
I was lucky enough to go back to get my coaching certification and become an IFC coach
And one of the most powerful things I learned was how to ask a question and stay out of fix-it mode.
Because we come into this place from we want to help, right?
We're not doing this to go become millionaires.
Like, sure, if that happens, it's wonderful.
But we want to help.
And that helping typically can end up in a fix-it mode.
And the biggest lesson you have to learn is stop fixing, be curious, right?
The client is going to give you everything you need.
to help them but you have to have that curiosity to be able to ask the right questions and understand a person in context right because their presenting problem might not make any sense to you right it's like i love hugging like trees and it's like okay that's weird and i'm gonna judge you
But if you understand the context of how it started, why it started, what it's helping with, where the loneliness was, whatever it might be, how you're going to understand it.
And you're going to go, what do you need?
