I believe that it is very possible that this is a byproduct of huge trauma that must have happened years ago. It affected the human race in general. So if you study what is the most common story that is transmitted in all cultures that seem to have created a lot of chaos, a lot of destruction, a lot of deaths, It's the big flood.

Everywhere you go, there's the story of flood, including the Bible, Noah's flood. I personally don't believe it's an actual story, but it's a story to be transmitted so that this memory is alive. And now it's been confirmed that there was a flood. And we know that if you dig deep in the earth, most places you arrive to a layer of discoloration called the Younger Dryas.
