Right, I mean, I think that a lot of these races, even right now, they'll have a tendency to be nationalized. Yeah.
These races ultimately are local, and all politics are local. My understanding is that Francesca Hong has made clear her present stances to her electorate. Yeah, she's moved away from a lot of that. Right, she's moved away from it. And I have a local city councilman that has this saying, woke one was crazy.
During this time, and especially during COVID, there was a huge opening of the overtime window. We were shut down. There was some of the highest unemployment rates that we have seen because of those shutdowns. And I think that the doors were really open in trying to entertain any and every policy that was going to get us to a better place. And I actually think that the discussions that were had in that time were quite fruitful.
I think that when we talk about crime today, it's fundamentally different than the way that we talked about crime in bringing crime down, right? And I think that we all share in the goals of having as low a crime rate as possible. I think that during lockdown, of course, rhetoric in that time is not rhetoric that we would use today. And I'm grateful that these candidates have the opportunity to present who they are to their electorate and what they're campaigning on in this moment.
I mean, I consider both of those things to be the same.
Actually, other countries, I don't know where we have jurisdiction over, but I think in terms of us, I do not support any transfer of weapon.
You know, I think, well, here's one thing that I will say.
Like, the actual ways that these things work is that they have to go.
So anything that I have a vote for, here's what I'll say.
Anything I have a vote for, I would not authorize that transfer.
And I haven't.
You know, I never have.
I've never voted.
To my knowledge, I don't believe I've ever voted for SBOPs.
I've never voted for the military NDAA budget.
So in terms of my vote and what I have control over, I always vote no on weapons transfers.

You know, I think many years ago,
Netanyahu prevented Congresswoman Tlaib and Omar from entering.
And so I had stated years ago that as long as they were opposing entry to them, but I certainly would be open to visiting and and would be happy to.
