But overall, when you're bringing in new habits and when you're breaking habits, if you have one bad day, that's just part of it.
You almost want to factor that in.
That's why I like doing things like no two days off in a row.
As you know, for example, if I'm trying to start, let's say I want to start exercising.
I can say like from nothing to something, I could say, I'm just going to have no two days off in a row.
So as long as I'm doing a 50% hit rate, I am going to see some change.
And when you do that enough and you start noticing the benefits and you start feeling good, by default, you're going to do more and more and more of that thing.
Okay.
Same with breaking a habit.
Okay.
Today I scrolled mindlessly and I didn't want to.
So tomorrow I'm really going to be switched on and not.
Okay.
And then, you know, today I had a really good day of not scrolling.
Let's see how I go tomorrow.
But if I fail tomorrow, I'm just going to do my best.
But if I fail, I'm not punishing myself.
We're trying again, trying again.
So that's a really, really good system because consistency is not about perfection.
It's about overall the hit rate.
