Okay, bye.
Oh my God, firstly, the introduction to that was amazing.
I can't believe you've been listening for six years.
I've had the podcast for six years this month, which is insane.
I didn't even do a sixth birthday for the podcast, but the fact that you've listened for all that time, oh, it would be my dream to go and do a live show in New Zealand and it will happen.
So all of my Kiwi listeners,
come to my live show whenever it does happen.
But I would hopefully think in the not too distant future because I would love to meet my Kiwi beans.
Yeah, that was just a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful message.
And you fill my heart with sunshine.
Anyway, really, really good question.
I think you do already have a lot of awareness around what's happening and you already know that you've done what you needed to do and you need to step away.
So how do you do it in a way, and I love that you said without having to like explain it or over-explain yourself or really like dive deep into why it is that you're stepping away because sometimes in the process of explaining yourself in order to like step away from something that's just not really healthy or not working for you or not really aligning with you, sometimes we get more drained.
Sometimes you're so...
not aligned with this person sibling friend partner whatever that even trying to explain it is not possible okay so these are the times where it's important to know that it's just not right to do so it's not going to work for you to explain it and then you've got to step away so i think it's really good that you were able to identify that it's not something that you're willing to do anymore you you can't explain it you need to step away so
There's many things that you can say because I think logically, if you were to really be logic, logic, logic, logic, you know that you've done what you needed to do or that you've tried your best.
You've tried to have a two-sided relationship.
You've tried for things to work and it's not worked out and it gets to a point where you need to cut your losses and stop investing so much time and energy.
You're already doing the managing your expectations around that person, which is huge.
I think that's the number one thing.
