Um, so I think when you look at this idea of balancing, when you've got kids and family, you have to appreciate that there is going to be change, but you also have to think, is this a very seasonal, short lived time in my life that maybe I could just, you know, what can I do to obviously feel healthy and balanced and, and supported, but also what can I do to
make the long nights or the sleepless nights more palatable, okay?
Obviously, everyone has their own experience, so I can't talk too heavily into everyone's parenting experiences, okay?
But
When we talk about balance in your 30s, it's less about perfection, I think, and having everything perfectly balanced.
Because I don't think everything can always be balanced.
There's going to be one thing that requires more energy while the other things get less of your time.
And then it's this constant game of like, bit more here, bit more there.
Oh, there's not.
Now I've got to go to that.
And it's constantly checking when one cup is getting empty and then going to fill that up.
And then that's life, okay?
And the more responsibilities you get, the more...
But I want you to look at your 30s as like moving through seasons.
And each season is very beautiful and unique in its own different way.
Difficult, but beautiful in a different way.
One thing I also did want to say before we go into these questions to ask yourself and these statements is...
the importance of autonomy, not just in your thirties, but whenever in your life.
And if you can prioritize autonomy, then you are going to feel a lot better.
One of the things, because I've been asked a lot, you know, okay, why do you feel that you've gone through this postpartum season quite well?
