We hear it from the governor.
We hear it from the mayor of Minneapolis.
I asked a few of the protesters.
You appear to protect the guy who DHS says was in the country illegally that is wanted for murder.
And they say, no, that is not true.
They're taking American citizens into custody.
So the smell of tear gas ongoing here.
And critics here and people who live in Minneapolis are saying that they didn't really know if that was such a good response from the mayor of the city when so much happened here during the George Floyd riots and in 2020 when the city parts of it literally burned down.
Also, the governor, who we know is at the center of a massive fraud scandal here that we've been covering, did talk about this.
He says they've had enough of what he didn't say was really much federal help.
