Downing drones. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. As the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran continues, the U.S. deploying a third Navy aircraft, a carrier strike group to join Operation Epic Fury. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates has the latest.
USS George H.W. Bush has completed her workups just off the coast of Cape Hatteras and is expected to deploy soon. She's expected to head to the eastern Mediterranean after the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford crossed the Suez Canal on Thursday and is now in the Red Sea. In addition to dozens of strike fighters aboard the carrier, the guided missile destroyers in the strike group will also be available to hit targets potentially in Yemen, should there be any signs of Houthi rebels launching attacks on Israel or international shipping.
Tomlinson also said that Iranian ballistic missile strikes are down 90% and drone attacks 83% and attacks are continuing against the UAE. President Trump posting to Truth Social, there will be no deal with Iran except unconditional surrender as major defense company executives agree to accelerate U.S. weapons production.
The president met with execs from Lockheed Martin, Honeywell and more. He says the companies are going to be ramping up production by four times of what he calls exquisite class weapons. He posted on Truth Social that we have a virtually unlimited supply of medium and upper medium grade munitions. The president also told a White House event the U.S. military is getting the job done against Tehran. Somebody said, how would you score it from zero to 10? I said, I'd give it a 12 to a 15. But Democratic Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona is warning the operation against Iran may become a math problem.

And he says that plan was backed by the Iranian regime. 47-year-old who's been in court now for a matter of days after prosecutors say he traveled here. With that assassination plot in mind, he's facing federal terrorism charges he was hit with, which could carry a life sentence. Merchant testified in his own federal trial explaining that Iranian leadership wanted President Trump dead. So they sent him to the U.S. to hire some criminals that could assassinate the president at a campaign rally.
Fox's Alexis McAdams reporting. Natural gas prices in the U.S. remaining relatively low as America continues to produce. International prices continue to increase with disruptions in the Middle East. Here's Fox's Jeff Flock.
Customers of America's largest municipally owned natural gas utility, the Philadelphia Gas Works, and all U.S. natural gas customers can rest easy. While prices have spiked between 40 and 70 percent in Asia and Europe, U.S. natural gas prices are up only single digits. Why? The United States has for the last decade and a half been the world's largest natural gas producer and for the last few years also the top exporter, controlling supply, keeping prices low for U.S. customers. Energy independence, a beautiful thing in difficult times for American customers trying to keep the lights on and the houses warm.
The Labor Department's jobs report showing 92,000 jobs were lost in February.
Those jobs numbers looking worse than expected. Economists predicted going into today that employers would have added 59,000 jobs last month.
