And why the VAR was checking for an offside and not for a foul.
Well, the Premier League Match Centre has released a statement saying that the referee's call of goal was checked offside.
and confirmed by VAR with the challenge by Solanke on Gueye deemed not to be a foul as Solanke played the ball.
The goal accreditation panel has adjudged the goal to be a Solanke goal.
So they checked for a foul and said no.
