Scott Cuthbert, uh former Stevenish centre back, has been promoted to assistant manager.
One never knows quite what the balance of of kind of power and tactical power and team's shape and set up is between a manager and their assistant.
But um you know, something like that always gives me a little cause for concern.
Uh they've lost some good players as well.
Charlie Good's gone to uh
MK Don's uh White as well, the midfielder is is now at Argyle.
You know, these are two players that richer teams at the level have been able to to pick off, basically.
Uh and Sweeney leaves uh as well.
What have they added to replace that?
Well, Terrence Van Kooten, former Steven Lewis centre back, comes back.
I think that's a a a good pickup for them.
Uh in midfield, Terry Taylor, someone I like a a lot actually, and if he can stay fit, I'm sure he'll get to a really
good level for them uh to replace Harvey White.
And up top Josh McGuinness and Ollie Sanderson, two big burly boys.
McGuinness uh a bit older, Sanderson a bit younger.
Uh we'll wait and see whether they've got goals in them because that's what Stevenage have lacked historically.
Um well certainly last season as well.
I think there's some hope that um Dan Kemp could come on again and become a a star for the level and he certainly looks uh ready to do so from what I've seen.
Um and that Phoenix Patterson could could maybe start becoming a a more regular League One contributor uh from an a attacking point of view.
