People often mispronounce Gernert and it gets tarjayed a lot.

So I've been introduced on many a panel as working at the Gernet company, which sounds incredibly chic and posh, but I do not work at the Gernet company.

I work at Gernet.

Interesting.

I'm delighted to be here.

I am not eager to write another one.

So I think I'm probably hanging up my book writing hat because I think I always understood and respected how hard it is.

And then I actually wrote a book and I get it in my bones now.

I would say that my path towards writing a book

is one that I think is actually a good way to think about whether or not you should write a book, which is I often do public speaking and I like it.

And I like teaching classes and workshops.

I've always enjoyed that part of the job.

And it's not all agents do it.

Not all agents have to do it.

But I was teaching a little workshop at Stanford for academics that were interested in writing crossover books, trade books.

And I loved doing it.
